Since graduating from Westwood College in 2007, I landed my first job editing for a magazine firm that relied heavily on In Design and formatting to PDF. That was right out of the gate straight into the field. The Los Angeles County CSSD gave me the opportunity to work at their Communications and Marketing Division as a contractor creating logos, icons and signage for an upcoming OS change that they were preparing for. The transition involved creating a short themed film as well as a PA service accompaniment.

 

Photography has now given me a niche in Graphic Design since I now shoot live bands, portraiture, architecture and landscapes. Gathering images that I shot gives me the flexibility to edit in just about any program that allows format output to be applied to web, print and video.
